Literature Text

This single tear runs down my cheek.
Meeting my lips with its
Bitter, salty taste.

My mouth opens, wide,
Where the taste finds my tongue.
Curling and writhing in pain,
Withdrawing out of view.

My lungs fill up, suck in the pain.
Expanding in my chest.
Exhaling the sweet waste,
Giving back to the world.

But not before dilluting my blood,
To be sent to my heart.
Invading and spreading,
Like a plague,
Attacking my core.

My hand raises to my cold, still chest.
Grabs at my flesh,
As my knees fall to the ground,
And my head smashes down.

Forever asleep today.
The first in a series of poems that i've recently written in history due to boredom. The rest will be on soon, no particular reason for this one, i just got inspired.
